I dealt directly with Alison Cohen, the General Sales Manager, who throughout the entire sales and delivery process was the ultimate professional. She treated me with the greatest of respect and was always considerate of my time and concerns. At delivery, she had Tom Dowling, one of her sales associates, review the new car in detail with me as this was my first MINI. He did a very thorough job and answered all my questions. 4.5"I was extremely happy with Tony Roles. However, I was not so happy with the supervisor on duty when I brought my trade in at the time I picked up my new car. The trade in, a 2007 S, had been appraised just 6 weeks before at $12,000. When I brought it in I was told that the appraisal had dropped to $11,500 because of a previously undiagnosed rear brake problem which required fixing. I think it was unfair to do this when I had a document specifying the $12,000 figure and this was what I was counting on. I had also taken the car to CarMax just several weeks before and they also offered me $12,000. If I had known that you were reducing the appraisal I would have sold my car to CarMax. I would have liked to get my car back a little faster, but I came in rather late on Friday afternoon, so I guess I should not complain too much, except for the fact that I was spoiled by having always been able to simply walk in and wait for prior service visits. Still, I was given a loaner with no problems, so this is a minor niggle. My one real concern is price. The MINI is not a luxury car, but you have luxury pricing for service. And the suggested services which I declined were even more expensive. One tire had a sidewall bubble, my brand of tire (Yokohama) was not available, so I was advised to buy two other tires (NOT run flats) for $700. My tire dealer wound up replacing just the damaged tire for $110. I really love your people and your services, and I realize that this quality of care does not come cheap, but these kinds of prices make me leery about returning. 5.0"This summer I had a not so great experience with the sales team at MINI of Baltimore County. I was looking at the Countryman and had to wait a long time for assistance, found assistance to not have answers to my questions, then test drove a car with the low gas light on- nerve wracking. I bought my car in Annapolis. BUT, when I had a flat, I needed to go to this closer location. Jonathan Baron was excellent: personable, timely and explained exactly what was wrong and how they'd fix it. Then, he reviewed the invoice and made sure my car was done by the time I had to leave. I had a very good experience with MINI Baltimore County this time around and will have no problem taking my car to be serviced here in the future. I have had tthe mini for only 6 months and it has spent almost an entire month in the service area and it was TOWED back there again today. Currently i would not recommend a mini to anyone due to my experience. 5.0"I brought my car last week for problems with the CD player since I have experience since buying the car. The problem is every time I turn the car off and wait an hour or longer, then turn the car on the CD track starts over from the beginning of the music and the volume resets itself to the lowest level. After looking at my car they said they found nothing wrong. The problem is I used the burn CD from the computer and not the original CD. I been using original CD not the burn one from the computer and having the same problem. I called last Friday to the service adviser Yani and said he would talk with the manager and I have not heard any think since. I feel this is a manufacturer fault and my car is under warranty and should be fixed or replace. I hope to hear from you very soon to solve this problem once and for all." ., , Dec 7, 2011

5.0"Alan did a superb job of handling my last visit. He coached me on how to improve the brightness in my headlights at a nominal fee. He solved the only vexing issue my wife and I had, namely getting enough light to drive confidently at night. This was a 180 degree difference in response from our previous service rep at MINI who quoted me $3000+ for the same outcome! Alan goes out of his way to help me save money each time I see him.
